High-Speed Broadband
We can bring free- or low-cost community-owned high-speed broadband to your building. We specialize in public housing, affordable housing, cooperatives, transitional and supportive housing, and shelters.
Digital Stewardship
People’s Choice reinvests in the community through our Digital Stewardship program. Network subscribers receive training as Digital Stewards to help their neighbors get online. All subscribers are invited to participate in ongoing digital education and training.

WHY WE HAVE BECOME THE TOP CHOICE IN AFFORDABLE INTERNET CONNECTIVITY
Community-Owned Networks. When we build out a network in your building, revenues are reinvested in our users through our Digital Stewardship program, education, and training.
FREE or Affordable Connectivity. Through the FCC Affordable Connectivity Benefit, we are able to provide high-speed 200/200 MPBS service for FREE, and can provide subscribers with laptops for $11.
Worker-Owned Organization. The Spectrum strikers own the company and we run it democratically.
Digital Stewardship. Through our Digital Stewardship program we hire local residents to help their neighbors get online. Our users are part of People’s Choice.

Yes, we are real 😀 We are a group of Spectrum strikers who built New Yorks City’s cable system. We have now come together and built an Internet Service Provider in the middle of the pandemic. We are now expanding our services across the NY/NJ metro area.

We specialize in bringing service to all residents of a building. If you own or manage a building, we will work out a customized plan to connect your residents. If you live in a building, we can help you through the steps of bringing service to your building.

We are a cooperative that is owned by the workers who have built the network. As we grow, we plan to extend ownership to users as well. Our model is inspired by the electric and telephone cooperatives of the New Deal which brought low-cost electricity and phone service to rural America. We are applying the same model to close today’s digital divide.
